Abstract

This case study from Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) describes the redesign of assessment on the BA (Hons.) in International Tourism Management through the introduction of an EduVlog in place of two oral presentations. Developed within a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework, the initiative aimed to increase inclusiveness by offering a diversified assessment format. Students created a 6–8 minute EduVlog reflecting on module topics using Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle. The initiative was evaluated through student feedback, and the EduVlog assessment continues with subsequent cohorts.
