Flynn, Sharon (2024) N-TUTORR: initial reflections on the impact of a 2 year programme of transformation across the TU sector. In: Higher Education Authority Teaching and Learning Conference 2024, Dublin.

Abstract

Overview of the N-TUTORR (Transforming Learning) programme led across the Technological University (TU) sector. With €40 million in funding, seven higher education institution partners, and engagement of approximately 4,000 staff and 9,600 students over two years, the programme operated across six themes, four work streams and twelve work packages. The presentation reflects on the programme’s impact in building sectoral capacity for digital transformation, professional development, collaboration, and student-centred innovation. It highlights key enablers of transformation—including time, change management, institutional capacity, community building, and cross-sector collaboration—while emphasising sustained partnership and shared vision as critical to systemic reform in teaching and learning.
