Digitisation of the Reverend Thomas Goff Diaries

This case study from the Institute of Art, Design + Technology (IADT) describes the digitisation of the Reverend Thomas Goff Diaries during the 2023–24 academic year. The project involved digitising nine volumes (1796–1844) and more than 185,000 words, creating a full transcript, and preserving the collection within the IADT institutional repository, Illustro, under a CC BY-NC 4.0 licence. Supported through SATLE funding, the initiative ensures permanent preservation, full discoverability, and public access to this significant primary historical resource.
