This presentation details the establishment and delivery of the two year online work based Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Hibernia College which was developed in collaboration with Pfizer. The programme which has been described as the “MBA of the pharmaceutical industry” was developed to fill a skills gap in the pharmaceutical and health-care industries and gives international pharmaceutical companies an opportunity to offer a high quality programme which can be delivered to employees, regardless of location.The programme is aimed at employees in the pharmaceutical and health-care industries and addresses the disciplines essential for industry leaders, providing students with the skills and knowledge required to be effective and productive leaders in today’s challenging pharmaceutical environment.
