Wald, M. S. (2000) Managing curriculum change - a challenge for engineering education. [Conference Proceedings]
Abstract
Curriculum change has become a vital act for the survival of engineering education institutions. New approaches are required to institute change and make ie acceptable to faculty and administration. While cultural constraints and differences necessitate different instruments and approaches when applied in a North American or European context of tertiary engineering education, some essential thinking about how to initiate change may come from business management practice. Aspects of this practice and related application are discussed in this paper.
