Abstract

A sequential mixed-methods study explores how students and facilitators experienced enquiry/problem-based learning after its move online during COVID-19 restrictions. Surveys and focus groups identify useful digital tools alongside difficulties involving technical access, competence and communication. The findings support facilitator training and deliberate attention to rapport, activity structure and social cohesion when designing online student-centred learning.
