Abstract

This conference paper examines students’ and educators’ experiences of group-video assessment in a large postgraduate initial-teacher-education class. Questionnaires, focus groups and educator reflections describe opportunities for creativity, collaboration and consolidation of learning. The authors discuss assessment efficiency and the relationship between video-based group work, higher-order thinking and Universal Design for Learning.
