Student engagement with technology-enhanced resources in mathematics in higher education: a review

This review examines research on student engagement with technology-enhanced mathematics resources in higher education. It considers evidence about educational effectiveness, evaluation approaches and the frameworks used to interpret technology integration. Drawing on more than 300 papers, it identifies limited attention to engagement specifically in undergraduate mathematics and discusses the need to connect pedagogical design with educational context.
