Examining students’ preferences for academic writing support in a third level institute in Ireland.

This study examines students’ preferences for academic-writing support at Technological University of the Shannon across three academic years spanning the move online during COVID-19. It compares preferences for face-to-face, remote and combined support and identifies writing structure, language, referencing and literature reviews as recurring areas of need. The findings inform the design and delivery of accessible academic-writing services.
