Abstract

In this paper, we introduced a cloud-based system framework for supporting educational timetabling on smart phones with location support. The framework has been fully considered with robust, modularity and functionality, and can be easily deployed for a new university environment. Evaluations show that the system could handle reasonable large amount of requests and its functions could best represents students' interests and fulfill their needs. © 2014 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
