Abstract

The article reports on the reaccreditation of the engineering undergraduate programs of the University College Dublin by the Engineers Ireland. The reaccreditation of the programs enables the graduates to practice as professional engineers in the signatory countries to the Washington Accord, according to Denis McGrath of Engineers Ireland. It mentions the significance of the reaccreditation according to Dean of Engineering Gerry Byrne. In addition, it enumerates the reaccredited courses.
